The series (in progress) is a reflection on the question of the relation, if any, between aesthetics and rationality, triggered by a line from Ion by Plato, pondering if Socrates was certainly correct in telling Ion that: “for it is not by art or knowledge about Homer that you say what you say, but by divine dispensation and possession”
